Epistles of John

The Gospel of John tells us why to believe and the three Epistles of John tell us what we can know once we believe. The Apostle John wants to both encourage and exhort us, as to how to walk as a believer.  He works to gird up your confidence in the truth of Christ.  As we live in this temporal world that will attempt to deceive us, and lead us astray, John boldly proclaims the truth as he contrasts it to the lies.  John assures disciples of Christ their salvation is assured in this life and the next.  We need to meditate and live out these epistles to know and live Life in the assurance of our Lord’s promises.
